Mrs. Kelly Rutherford
Hello, Mathews Friends! My name is Kelly Rutherford, and I am delighted to be part of the Mathews family. It is a privilege and a JOY to be here at Mathews and work with the staff, students, and families of our school.
I graduated from Baylor University, Texas with my Bachelor of Science in Education degree with an Emphasis in Music. Prior to joining the Mathews family, I was a first grade teacher at Forman Elementary. I also taught third and fourth grade at Mendenhall Elementary. It is my desire that each student will experience success and reach their full potential.
When I'm not at school, I am most likely spending time with my family. I am married to my beloved husband Paul, and we have three amazing children. Everett plays football in middle school and enjoys robotics, coding, and engineering. My beautiful daughter Emrie sings in middle school honor choir and plays hard on the soccer field. My youngest son, Ellis, is hilarious, energetic, and loves all sports. In my free time, I enjoy reading, thrifting, and spending time with my favorite people.
