I am so excited to be going through my first year of teaching with Mathews Elementary!
I am Ms. Korsmo (or Ms. K!), and I am so excited to be going through my first year of teaching at Mathews Elementary! I graduated in May 2024 with a BA in English and Theatre from Rice University in Houston, TX! I am certified in Early Childhood-6th grade, 7th-12th grade ELA, ESL, and the Science of Teaching Reading!
I grew up moving around the country with my military family, and am very happy to have finally settled in Carrollton, TX! I have two kittens, Remus and Feyre, who I love to cuddle up with while reading my Kindle. Some of my favorite things are coffee, pink, Taylor Swift, and Harry Potter!
3rd grade is such a special year, and I can't wait to learn, grow, and make memories with my students!
