Ms. Valarie Davies
This my 12th year teaching in PISD. Growing up in Dallas and the daughter of a retired PISD teacher, I was aware of the high expectations and incredible students/parents/staff in PISD. After college I had the opportunity to live in several states around the U.S. Coming back home a decade ago and having the opportunity to teach not only in PISD but, Mathews is such a WIN!
I am the proud mom of two grown children and grateful “Gigi” to 5 yr old Audrey. When I am not taking care of Audrey, working in my English garden or chasing my precocious dog around the neighborhood, I enjoy my 30 year hobby of genealogical/historical research. On summer break or long weekends, you may likely find me in some remote old County Courthouse basement in search of documents that I enjoy researching and compiling for local and national genealogy societies and libraries.
I appreciate the opportunity to learn and laugh with the students at Mathews. Go MAVS!
